Hey Friends! I want to start by saying THANK YOU for rocking with me through this BlackWifeLife® journey. If you know the story behind the brand, this phrase came to me in a dream, and the rest is history. Starting this website was a dream that I had no idea I had, needed, and wanted. Once @BlackWIfeLife took off on Instagram, I began to see things clearer.

By expanding beyond Instagram, I gave 10 independent Black writers a place to share their experiences, wisdom, and creativity. From stories about dating a single mom to overcoming divorce to a vulnerable tale about breastfeeding as a working mom, this website shares so many stories, Black stories. And let’s not forget our resident playlist curator, Bee Sherel, who has given us vibes for Summertime and something to jam to while you are shopping at Trader Joe’s.

We’ve even been able to interview some amazing Black couples and share their stories from learning millennial wifehood hacks to re-connecting 10 years later in life. Let’s not forget the amazing story of baby Myles, born without ten fingers and toes. We have shared it all and looking forward to sharing even more in the years to come.

My writers are extremely special to me, and they span from New York to California. From physicians to college students. A girl dad of two to a cancer beating social worker. We here at BlackWifeLife® are everyday REAL people who have a passion for love, relationships, family, and OUR community. Not to mention, we have a Pastor who delivers a beautiful Sunday Service message twice a month. We cover it ALL.

None of this would be possible without the support of every one of our visitors. I thank you for reading and sharing the stories and journeys of our writers. There is so much in store for us, and I hope you stay for the journey.

If you are interested in learning more about me, the founder + creator of this community, check out my personal website and sign up for my bi-monthly newsletter – Monday Lunch.

Again, thanks for being a part of this journey. Can’t wait to share more #BlackLove in 2021.
